Hi all. So, I subscribed to a course on music in iTunes you. Some random professor is not about to email me for work, based on my Apple ID? I hope not, as I am trying to build my music knowledge without working, though I am going to practice what they say.

I love the course a whole bunch. I guess seeing the assignments tab put me off, but I'm cool with it now.

Yeah, some schools actually use the system for their students is why you may see that tab. I'll have to check out what's there. I haven't looked lately.

I got a few good courses from Stanford. That is fun stuff to listen to, get me ready for what's to come.

The Assignments page, just like any continuing ed course, is a way for you to exercise the knowledge you're acquiring. It's not the same as being a kid in school, it's like the Captain in Cool Hand Luke says: "It's all up to you."

It's cool that way. I can work at my own damn pace for once.
